BLIK guided tours offer a fresh perspective on Ordrupgaard’s extensive permanent art collection. Join us for a special guided tour as the museum’s experienced art educators reveal hidden treasures and shed new light on much-loved works.

Every BLIK guided tour is unique and curated to reflect the guide’s area of specialism and personal perspective.

Today’s Perspective

Join us on an inspiring tour that explores artists’ relationships with plants, nature and landscape from the early 1800s to the present day.
During the tour, we’ll highlight works by artists including Johan Th. Lundbye, L.A. Ring, Théodore Rousseau and Maurice de Vlaminck. We’ll finish outside in Ordrupgaard’s beautiful Greenhouse, with the fascinating work Sequoia, created by the prominent contemporary artist Camilla Berner. This also highlights today’s debate on climate and our view of nature.

Today’s BLIK is led by art historian Fleur Pihlkjær Wetterholm.

Practical information

Tickets for the public guided tour can be collected from the ticket desk on the day. All public guided tours are free once you have paid the admission fee, but there is a limit on the number of participants for these tours and you must have a ticket to take part.

We’ll meet in the museum foyer. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
