Practical Information

You can bring your bike on the S-train to Klampenborg St or Ordrup St. It’s free to bring your bike on the S-train. The bike ride is 3 km and takes about 11-15 minutes.

Arrive by S-train or regional train to Klampenborg St. or Lyngby St. and then with bus 388 to Vilvordevej. From the bus stop at Vilvordevej it is a 2-minute walk to the museum.

You can also arrive at Ordrup Station. From there it is a 15-minute walk through a quiet neighborhood to the museum.

Bus 388 stops two minutes walk from the museum twice an hour. You can get on the bus at both Klampenborg St. and Lyngby St.

Buses 169, 179 and 185 stops at Femvejen, from where it is about a 10-minute walk to the museum along Vilvordevej.

The address is Vilvordevej 110, 2920 Charlottenlund.

Museum Ordrupgaard has a large parking lot with free parking for all of our guests. The parking lot has three chargers if you arrive in an electric car.

There is a limited number of lockers in our cloakroom and several hangers in the foyer. Coats and luggage must be stored in the cloakroom and is not allowed in the exhibitions.

Designated accessible parking spaces are available in the parking lot. From here, it is approximately 100 metres to the museum’s main entrance.

Visitors may use the courtyard in front of the manor house for drop-off and pick-up.

If you need to park closer to the entrance, please feel free to contact us before your visit at ordrupgaard@ordrupgaard.dk.

Wheelchair access is via the museum’s main entrance.

We recommend that wheelchair users take the route around the Snøhetta building from the car park to the main entrance, as the surface of the building’s structure is grooved and may be uncomfortable to move across. Please note that the forecourt in front of the museum is covered with gravel.

The museum is accessible to both manual and electric wheelchair users. Accessible toilets are found in the foyer and in the Danish Collection. Unfotunately, it is not possible to access Finn Juhl's house in a wheelchair. 

A limited number of wheelchairs and walkers are available on a first come, first served basis. Please ask at the front desk upon arrival.

Support companions have free access to the museum with a Companion Card.

If you wish to visit Finn Juhl's house both you and your support companion need a ticket. If you buy this online in advance your support companion can get a refund at the front desk upon arrival.

Service dogs are welcome.

The museum’s front-of-house staff and gallery attendants are aware of the Sunflower Lanyard scheme. You are always welcome to approach a member of staff with any questions, big or small.

Villa Pük and the creative workshop at Museum Ordrupgaard is always open during the museum’s opening hours.

Located near the museum shop and the exhibition Gauguin and Ceramics, the workshop invites children and families to explore their creativity through activities inspired by the season or one of the museum’s current exhibitions.

Accessible toilet facilities are available in both the foyer and Café Mondrup. Baby-changing facilities can be found in the toilets in the foyer.

Prams, strollers, and pushchairs are welcome throughout the museum.

Museum Ordrupgaard does not have a designated lunch room for visitors bringing their own food. Packed lunches may be enjoyed outdoors in the Art Park, but food and drinks are not permitted in the exhibition galleries.

Mondrup’s Café offers a selection of meals suitable for the whole family.
